Dobiček Banke blaginje padel za 36,8%

Banko del Bienestar je v drugem četrtletju poročala o čistem dobičku v višini 478 milijonov pesov, kar je 36,8% manj v primerjavi s 756 milijoni pesov v istem obdobju prejšnjega leta. Banka je doživela povečane upravne in promocijske stroške, medtem ko je imela nižji prihodek od provizij in pristojbin.

The Banco del Bienestar reported a 36.8% decline in net profits for the second quarter, recording a net income of 478 million pesos compared to 756 million pesos in the same period last year. The financial results reflect a challenging environment marked by increased administrative and promotional expenses alongside lower commission and fee revenues. The operating result for the bank during April to June was 706 million pesos, representing a 32.2% decrease from the 1,410 million pesos recorded in the previous year’s second quarter. The pre-tax profit also fell by 32.2%, dropping from 1,420 million to 706 million pesos. Administrative and promotional costs rose to 2,814 million pesos in the second quarter, up 10.4% from 2,549 million pesos in the same period of 2025. Notable increases were observed in repair and maintenance expenses, which more than quadrupled from 32 million to 158 million pesos. Costs related to the transfer of assets increased by 24.1%, climbing from 399 million to 495 million pesos. Expenses for taxes and various rights surged by 74.4%, rising from 86 million to 150 million pesos. In contrast, technology-related expenditures decreased by 6.2%, falling from 678 million to 636 million pesos. Depreciation and amortization costs also declined by 6.8%, decreasing from 339 million to 316 million pesos. Security and surveillance spending dropped by 7.1%, going from 168 million to 156 million pesos. Salaries increased slightly, rising by 3.1% to 608 million pesos from 590 million. Other administrative and promotional expenses grew by 15.7%, increasing from 153 million to 177 million pesos. Commission and fee net revenues totaled 2,146 million pesos, down 4.6% from 2,250 million pesos in the second quarter of 2025. Interest income stood at 2,223 million pesos, a reduction of 14.6%, while interest expenses fell sharply by 32.4%, declining from 1,271 million to 859 million pesos. The bank has maintained its long-term and short-term credit ratings with Fitch Ratings, which placed them at “AAA(mex)” and “F1+(mex)” with a stable outlook. This rating underscores the institution’s strategic role as the sole channel for distributing funds under Mexico’s Programs for Wellbeing. The bank emphasized its commitment to advancing financial inclusion and banking services among vulnerable populations. The Banco del Bienestar continues to play a vital role in the national financial system, particularly through its involvement in government welfare programs. It has expressed its intention to maintain its contributions to financial inclusion and the expansion of banking access for underserved communities. As the economic landscape evolves, the bank will likely continue to adjust its operations to meet changing demands and regulatory expectations. Its recent performance highlights both challenges and opportunities within the broader context of Mexico’s financial sector.
