The song was written by Damjan Pasarič, a multi-award-winning songwriter who followed the creative vision of Mladi asi member Alen Krajnc. The music was composed by renowned musician Uroš Steklas, with arrangements handled by Tommy Budin, formerly a clarinetist with the ensemble of saxophonist Saša Avsenik. The group, which includes vocalists Nuša Zelenjak, Tom Kladnik, Nik Vozelj, Janez Jesenovec, Timotej Užmah, and Žan Kopše, continues to maintain its recognizable musical style, blending traditional quintet sounds with modern elements. Their inspiration came from everyday experiences, driving through traffic while traveling to celebrations, weddings, and other events. These situations led them to transform their observations into a lively and lighthearted song that resonates with many who find themselves stuck in traffic. The members of the group joked about how they realized they spent more time standing still than moving forward while traveling to performances, trips, or work. They decided to create a catchy tune that would reflect this common experience. To add visual flair, they enlisted familiar faces for the video. Among them were actress Urška Vučak, who has appeared in several other videos, including those featuring the popular band Brajde. The group also included farmer Franco Vozla, known for his participation in local competitions, and journalist Jasna Kuljaj, who reads traffic reports in the video. Filming took place at various interesting locations, from highways to construction sites, even near a massive concrete pear tree. The unique settings and relaxed energy of the performers give the video a special charm, reinforcing the song’s humorous message. The video, shot with a mix of spontaneity and creativity, quickly gained popularity, amassing nearly 150,000 views. It highlights the shared experience of many Slovenians during the busy summer months, offering both entertainment and a subtle critique of the nation’s ongoing traffic challenges.
