This reduction has placed her within the "overweight" category, potentially qualifying her for hernia surgery. The progress has been transformative for Jackson. She has adopted a healthier diet and increased her activity level, marking a dramatic shift from her previous reliance on food for emotional comfort. “Mounjaro has kick-started my healthy eating,” she said. “I eat so healthily now and I feel so much better. Currently measuring 52cm, the hernia has expanded by 10cm in the past year, with no sign of slowing. For Jackson, the prospect of surgery represents not just a medical intervention but a chance to reclaim her independence and return to work. “I’ve missed out on so much of my life,” she said. “The hernia stops me from going anywhere.
