She also played a key role in European legal cooperation, leading the network of presidents of the highest courts of the European Union from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, she volunteered with the Stiftung Forum Recht, supporting initiatives focused on legal education and public engagement. Limperg will step down following her retirement, having reached the mandatory age limit for continued service. However, she has indicated that she plans to remain active in voluntary efforts aimed at preserving fundamental legal principles.
