Delhi govt withdraws WFH arrangement for its employees as West Asia tensions ease

The Delhi government has ended its work-from-home (WFH) policy for employees on Wednesdays and Saturdays, citing that the geopolitical situation in West Asia has returned to normal. This decision was approved by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, with the formal order expected to be issued soon. Office hours for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) have been adjusted to 10 am to 6:30 pm, while the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will maintain its current schedule of 8:30 am to 5 pm. The WFH initiative was introduced earlier in May as part of a broader campaign called 'Mera Bharat, Mera Yogdaan,' which aimed to conserve fuel and reduce foreign exchange outflows following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for reduced fuel consumption and non-essential travel.

Lettura del bias (Centro): The article reports on a policy change made by the Delhi government in response to geopolitical developments, presenting the decision neutrally without apparent ideological framing. It includes background on the policy's origin and provides context regarding the national appeal by Prime Minister Mod
