Vodafone has begun testing the world's first mobile antenna equipped with artificial intelligence and robotic arms, designed to autonomously optimize coverage using 4G and 5G networks. The trial is taking place in Tirana, Albania, where the system dynamically adjusts signals based on real-time user demand and environmental conditions. According to reports, the technology combines data analysis with automated hardware adjustments, reducing the need for manual intervention by engineers. This marks a major step forward in network optimization through AI-driven automation. The intelligent system evaluates network requirements and local conditions before sending instructions to autonomous robotic arms developed by South Korean company Humax Networks.
