Students were given the opportunity to explore how these technologies can enhance healthcare delivery and improve the efficiency of herbal cultivation. For example, during their visit to the China Mobile 5G Innovation Centre Hong Kong Open Lab, participants learned how connected devices and data analytics could support the growth and management of medicinal plants. This exposure helps students understand the evolving landscape of TCM and its potential for technological advancement. In addition to technical training, the program emphasizes the importance of community involvement and cultural exchange. Student ambassadors have taken on roles as health mentors for the elderly, teaching them about wellness practices such as Ba Duan Jin, a form of qigong, and offering guidance on acupoint-based care. The program has also expanded its offerings this year with the introduction of the “Campus Herbal Medicine Baizi Cabinet” initiative.
