COThe Colombian Superintendence of Health has issued a final warning to Nueva EPS, the country’s largest health promotion entity, demanding certified and approved financial statements for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025 by July 6, 2026. The documents are needed to assess the entity’s liquidity, debts, and solvency, which will serve as a basis for the next government to manage the organization. Nueva EPS has been under state intervention since April 2024, and despite multiple formal requests, it continues to fail to provide the required documentation. However, an audit by the Office of the Comptroller found that state interventions have not improved the financial or legal indicators of these entities.
