A research focus titled “Frauen*Festspiele.Salzburg” is conducting an online survey to gather opinions on which female authors should be represented at the festival and what measures could enhance gender equality. This effort precedes the annual Festspiel-Academy, which takes place on August 15th and 16th. The academy aims to examine the absence of women in key roles within the festival, such as organizers, composers, and directors.
