The Slovenian Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) has introduced an electronic 'guidance note' for managing temporary work absence due to illness, accessible via the SPOT portal for employers. This replaces the previous paper-based system where doctors manually filled out and handed over the document. The electronic guidance note includes information on permissible activities, validity period, reason for absence, and the first day of absence.
