During his meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Erdoğan stressed advancing defense industry and trade cooperation between Türkiye and Germany. Concerns about potential disruptions in the understanding between Iran and the United States were raised, with Türkiye committed to promoting lasting peace.
