The project is part of the Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS), which integrates these autonomous platforms with existing systems such as the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV). The AGVs will be delivered within nine months and are expected to expand operational reach and lethal capacity. While the number of units in this contract remains unclear, Overland AI anticipates delivering more than 12 vehicles. Future plans suggest these AGVs could eventually replace JLTVs as fully autonomous platforms for radar, sensors, and missile launchers.
