Emergency services transported him urgently to the Regional Hospital of Bell Ville, where he remains hospitalized with a critical prognosis. The accident took place around 9 a.m., in the direction towards the province of Santa Fe. Preliminary investigations suggest the vehicle lost control, striking the guardrail on the shoulder of the road, hitting traffic signs, and ultimately overturning onto the side of the road. Police officers from the Judicial Police and agents from the Córdoba Police began their work at the scene to determine the mechanics of the incident. Initial forensic examinations ruled out the involvement of a second vehicle. Investigators are examining whether the rollover resulted from excessive speed, poor driving maneuvers, or mechanical failure. During the investigation, one lane of the highway was closed, causing delays in a high-traffic section connecting two major cities in the country. Another accident involving a truck occurred on Friday along National Route 237 in Neuquén Province. A Renault Duster traveling from Bariloche to Collón Curá lost control and veered off the road near a bridge. The driver and his nine-year-old daughter fell into a stream. The car crossed the right side of the road and plunged directly into the water. As a result of the accident, a nine-year-old girl who was in the vehicle died shortly after 4:30 p.m. According to initial investigations, the father of the child removed his daughter’s body from the vehicle and carried it to the bank of the stream before collapsing into a state of shock and unconsciousness on the other side of the stream. Medical personnel transported the man to the Bariloche Hospital, where he was admitted with a cephalohematoma, a fracture in a dorsal vertebra, and memory gaps regarding the incident.
