Italy dominated the first set, but Slovenia responded strongly in the second and third sets, showing resilience. Despite this, Italy secured the victory with a score of 3:1. This result kept Slovenia in contention for a higher placement, though they continued to face tough competition. Slovenia then played against Kenya and Germany in subsequent matches. They defeated Kenya with a score of 3:1, showcasing improved performance and tactical adjustments. Against Germany, Slovenia again demonstrated determination, managing to win the first set before ultimately losing the match. These results helped them secure a spot in the top nine teams. In the final stages of the tournament, Slovenia faced the Netherlands. They started strong, winning the first set, but the Netherlands proved too strong in the following sets. Ultimately, Slovenia was defeated by the Netherlands with a score of 3:1, finishing in tenth place overall.
