These zones were established earlier this month in three southern Lebanese towns, Frun, Srifa, and Sautar al-Gharbija, where Lebanese security forces, not involved in the conflict, would take control and disarm Hezbollah while Israel gradually withdraws its military presence. Meanwhile, two former Iranian women's national football team players, who sought asylum in Australia during the Asian Cup, have officially received Australian citizenship. Fatemeh Pasandideh and Atefeh Ramezanisadeh were granted their new status in a ceremony led by Interior Minister Tony Burke. Ramezanisadeh described the moment as “special and unforgettable,” expressing pride and gratitude for becoming an Australian citizen.
