However, the suspensions of all officers, excluding Vikash, were lifted on July 28, 2025. Vikash challenged his suspension through the Central Administrative Tribunal, which ruled in his favor and ordered the government to provide him with the same relief as his colleagues. As a result, the state revoked his suspension. By September 8, 2025, all five officers had submitted detailed written responses to the home department, denying the allegations of negligence and requesting clearance from all charges. The disciplinary process began shortly after the stampede, with immediate action taken against the officers.
