An LPG tanker collided with a divider at a toll plaza in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi district, leading to a catastrophic fire that claimed four lives and left several others injured. The incident, captured on CCTV, unfolded on the morning of June 26, near the Sihori Toll Plaza, under the jurisdiction of Kokhraj police station. The tanker, traveling from Kanpur to Varanasi, reportedly lost control and struck the divider, causing a gas leak that quickly ignited into a massive fireball. The driver of the tanker, identified as Dharmendra Dwivedi from Mirzapur district, was trapped inside the vehicle and perished instantly due to the intensity of the fire.
