The Vulkangruppe has previously targeted industrial sites and infrastructure projects, often citing opposition to capitalism and environmental policies as motivations. Their activities have raised concerns among officials and energy companies, particularly given the increased threat perception related to Russian-linked sabotage and espionage efforts.
