The revitalized facility is expected to meet the standards required for hosting both motorcycle World Championship events and Formula One races. Completion of the work is anticipated by 2027. The Argentine president emphasized during a meeting with representatives of the International Automobile Federation that the country is committed to developing the institutional seriousness necessary to organize a Formula One race. “Our passion for racing is timeless. We have tradition and we have racers. Now we are rebuilding the institutional strength needed to host Formula One,” he stated. The proposed return of Formula One to Argentina would represent a significant milestone for the sport in South America. It would also align with broader efforts to expand the presence of Formula One in regions where motorsport traditions remain strong.
