49 barangays in Agoo, La Union get new emergency vehicles

The Philippine Daily Inquirer reports that 49 barangays in Agoo, La Union received new multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) from the provincial government to enhance emergency response, disaster rescue operations, and the delivery of public services. The vehicles were funded through the province’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund, and each barangay will receive an additional P10,000 annually for operational costs.
