The Serbian government has adopted a decision regarding the number of students who can enroll in first-year study programs at higher education institutions funded by the state budget for the academic year 2026/27. The total number of budget-funded students allowed to enroll in basic vocational, basic academic, and integrated academic study programs is set at 17,493. Additionally, a separate decision was made concerning the number of students for basic vocational study programs at technical academies, with a total of 4,442 budget-funded spots available. These decisions were announced by the Ministry of Education.
