BAAn extensive joint search and rescue (SAR) exercise was successfully conducted at Grabovičko Lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina, involving over 100 rescuers from 18 mountain and intervention rescue services across the country. The simulation tested procedures for locating, technical rescue operations, and evacuation of injured individuals across complex terrain spanning 12 kilometers, divided into six key sectors. High-ranking officials, including the Premier of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the Minister of Internal Affairs, attended the event. The exercise highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts and standardized operational protocols, with participants demonstrating high readiness using specialized equipment and technology like CalTopo.
