The Ministry of Culture in Serbia has allocated 9.7 million dinars to develop cultural infrastructure, protect cultural heritage, and improve museum activities in Paraćin. The agreement was signed between Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković and Mayor of Paraćin Vladimir Milićević. The funds are part of the 'Cities in Focus 2026' competition, which provided seven million dinars for the project 'Paraćin – City of Glass: How Industry Became Art.' These funds will support the final phase of equipping the Museum of Glass, including interior design, expert supervision, technical inspection, purchase of audiovisual equipment, creation of visual identity, and graphic design of the museum layout. Minister Selaković emphasized that the Museum of Glass is part of the larger national program 'Leap into the Future 2027' and is being prepared for the EXPO 2027, which will take place outside Belgrade. He noted that since taking office, the ministry has allocated 129 million dinars specifically for this museum project, bringing the total allocated since 2022 to 164.6 million dinars, making it one of the largest cultural infrastructure projects outside Belgrade. The museum is considered important,

Sredstva su namenjena arheološkom nalazištu Vrelo-Šarkamen, zameni stolarije zgrade Muzeja Hajduk Veljka, osavremenjavanju prostora, međunarodnom festivalu vlaške muzike "Gergina", Domu kulture "Stevan Mokranjac" i obeležavanju 180. godinice Negotinske Narodne biblioteke.
