La Cámara de Artesanía de la PGZ y el Hospital Especial Medico firmaron un acuerdo de cooperación

The Obrtnička Komora of the Primorsko-Goranska County and Special Hospital Medico have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at providing more affordable healthcare services to local artisans, their employees, immediate family members, and staff of the Chamber itself. The deal was formalized today by Emil Priskić, president of the county's Obrtnička Komora, and Dr. Aron Grubešić, director of Special Hospital Medico. This marks the third such agreement between the Chamber and local healthcare institutions with the goal of improving access to medical care for artisans. Under the terms of the agreement, artisans, their employees, and close family members can choose from a range of health services with a 10 percent discount. Additionally, systematic check-ups are available with discounts of approximately 30 percent. For men and women, these systematic check-ups cost 160 euros, compared to regular prices ranging from 225 to 237 euros. A more comprehensive systematic check-up, priced at 350 euros, includes mammography, abdominal ultrasound, and ECG with interpretation. However, certain services are excluded from the 10 percent discount, including external laboratory services, surgical procedures, cosmetic treatments, day hospital services, and consultations with professors Haller, Buta, and Dr. Markušić. Emil Priskić thanked Medico for its collaboration, noting that the Primorsko-Goranska County has around 13,000 artisans employing a total of 25,000 people. He emphasized that this agreement ensures more accessible health examinations for the Chamber’s membership. Priskić added that this initiative continues the Chamber’s efforts to support artisans through co-financing contributions for mandatory insurance during the first 42 days of illness, secured via the Fund for Artisan Assistance of the Obrtnička Komora of the Primorsko-Goranska County. Dr. Grubešić highlighted that Special Hospital Medico offers diagnostic tests comparable to those of large hospital centers, complete radiological services, consultations with top specialists, and treatment options through day hospitals or surgical programs. He concluded that all these services can be obtained at one location, a feature rare among private institutions in Croatia, for which he expressed pride. This agreement follows two previous collaborations between the Obrtnička Komora and other healthcare providers in the region. These partnerships aim to ensure that artisans receive quality healthcare at reduced costs. The current agreement with Medico expands the range of available services and further reduces financial barriers for accessing essential health checks and treatments. Artisans and their families will benefit from both routine and specialized medical services under the new arrangement. The specific discounts apply to systematic health screenings, while other services remain unaffected by the price reductions. The agreement underscores the ongoing commitment of the Obrtnička Komora to enhance the welfare of local artisans through strategic partnerships with healthcare providers. The collaboration between the Obrtnička Komora and Special Hospital Medico reflects broader efforts to improve healthcare accessibility for small business owners and their dependents. By securing discounted rates on key medical services, the partnership aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with maintaining health coverage and undergoing necessary medical evaluations. The agreement is set to take effect immediately following its signing, allowing eligible individuals to begin utilizing the benefits outlined in the cooperation framework. Specific implementation details, such as enrollment processes and service availability, are being finalized by both parties to ensure smooth execution of the agreement.
