The regional peak and plate regulation will maintain its usual schedule, running from noon until 8 p.m. Before and after this time frame, vehicles can enter the city without limitations. Specifically, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., vehicles with license plates ending in even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) will be allowed to enter. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., vehicles with license plates ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) will be permitted to enter. The restriction applies to nine key entry corridors into Bogotá, each authorized by the Mayor’s Office. These roads include: North Highway: Between the Andes toll and the North Portal of TransMilenio (north-south direction). South Highway: Between the boundary with Soacha and Boyacá Avenue (south-north direction). Centenario Avenue (Street 13): Between the Bogotá River and Cali Avenue (west-east direction). Street 80 Avenue: Between the Guadua Bridge and the Street 80 Portal of TransMilenio (west-east direction). Seventh Avenue: Between Streets 245 and 183 (north-south direction). Boyacá Avenue (Llano Road): Between the Argelino Durán Quintero Tunnel and the old Llano Road (south-north direction). Suba-Cota Road: Between the Bogotá River and Street 170 (north-south direction). La Calera Road: Between the Patios Toll and Seventh Avenue (east-west direction). Choachí Road: Between Monserrate Avenue and Circunvalar Avenue (east-west direction). In addition to these restrictions, there will be road closures related to the military parade taking place on July 20 along Villavicencio Avenue, between Transversal 70C and Carrera 22G. Specific traffic restrictions include: Boyacá Avenue, slow lane in the north-south direction, from Diagonal 52 South to Carrera 24, from midnight to 4 p.m. Gaitán Cortés Avenue between Boyacá Avenue and Calle 68F South, both directions, from midnight to 4 p.m. Villavicencio Avenue between the South Highway and Boyacá Avenue, both directions, from midnight to 4 p.m. The implementation of the regional peak and plate system reflects ongoing efforts by local authorities to reduce congestion and improve traffic management in Bogotá.
