Hospickafe Ptuj: Sprejemanje minljivosti in smrti

The Slovenian organization Hospic continues its annual Hospickafe meetings, which aim to open space for discussions about life, mortality, and death. This year’s event will take participants on a journey into the world of two communities—Amish and Inuit—that are rarely well understood due to their distinct lifestyles and geographical distance. Guest speaker Andreja Rustj, who has lived among both groups, will share personal insights into their customs, values, and attitudes toward life, death, and acceptance of inevitable aspects of existence. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, at 5 PM in the Grajska café at Ptuj Castle. Volunteer Mirjana Mladič will moderate the discussion, and organizers invite all interested individuals to attend, emphasizing openness and honesty in conversations about topics often avoided in daily life.
