Feria del Libro Infantil 2026: más de 70 stands, promociones y espectáculos en vacaciones de invierno

The 34th edition of the Feria del Libro Infantil began its run on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Buenos Aires Convention Center, marking a new chapter for the annual children’s book fair. A key initiative introduced this year is the "chequelibro," a voucher worth $10,000 that students receiving the fair entry with their school delegation can redeem for a book at participating stalls. The fair’s new location spans 3,000 square meters, accommodating more than 70 booths and two dedicated performance spaces where live readings and creative workshops take place throughout the duration of the event. The fair will also host the Premios Pregonero on July 31, an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding contributions to the literary industry. These awards celebrate excellence in publishing, illustration, and storytelling, highlighting the diverse talent within Argentina’s cultural sector. Her book Petit, el monstruo inspired the animated series Petit, produced by Paka Paka, Señal Colombia, and TV, further cementing her influence in both print and digital media.
