Los afganos acusan a los guardias fronterizos turcos de habernos golpeado y dejado en la nieve

A group of 50 Afghan migrants, including 12 young men and boys aged 13, reported being beaten by Turkish border guards, stripped naked, and abandoned in the snow during their attempt to reach Europe in January. The migrants claimed at least 20 people died from hypothermia, while others suffered severe injuries requiring amputation. One man, Shahsawar, described having both arms and legs cut off and being unable to speak after the attack. Turkish authorities did not directly address the allegations but stated that border forces adhere to domestic and international laws and provide necessary aid to irregular migrants. The migrants were detained in Van, Turkey, where temperatures dropped to -15°C, and were subjected to harsh conditions, forced labor, and physical abuse. They recounted an especially violent incident on January 25th, during which they were beaten with iron rods, stripped, and pushed through barbed wire into Iran. Many became lost in the blizzard, with one child, Danial, later found dead in the snow. Some survivors, including a 13-year-old boy named Asim, eventually succumbed to hypothermia.

Lectura del sesgo (Izquierda): The article frames the actions of Turkish border guards as excessive force and human rights violations, emphasizing the suffering of the migrants and the lack of accountability from Turkish authorities. While the report presents factual accounts from the migrants, the emphasis on the brutality and漠视
