According to the ministry, the two countries whose responses are still pending have been informed of Nigeria’s intentions and have indicated that they will provide their consent in due time. Officials are currently engaged with the relevant authorities in these countries to expedite the process. The ministry expressed confidence that the final approvals will be granted shortly, allowing all appointed ambassadors to take up their roles without further delay. Most of the newly appointed ambassadors have already traveled to their respective posts and presented their Letters of Credence, which are official documents used to formally introduce an envoy to a foreign government.
