Digital stories of the past for future generations

Yesterday, the exhibition 'Zbirka zgodb' (Collection of Stories) opened at the Gledališka in koncertna dvorana Lendava. The exhibition is part of the international project HER[AI]TAGE and features a digital collection of 36 stories gathered from elderly residents of local communities in Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia. These stories, memories, and life experiences have been professionally processed using modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence and presented in a contemporary digital format. The exhibition aims to preserve cultural heritage, local identity, and collective memory for future generations. Visitors can explore the stories through photographs, texts, and digital content, which connect people, places, and cultural heritage while building bridges between communities across national borders. The exhibition will be open until July 31.
