Due to the mass exodus of radiologists, the Ministry has also issued a statement

The Croatian Ministry of Health has announced it will request additional information from the management of the Clinical Hospital Center Sisters of Mercy regarding the mass resignation of radiologists. This reaction follows concerns raised by the Croatian Association of Hospital Doctors (HUBOL), which reported that six out of nine oncological radiologists at the Tumor Clinic and two interventional radiologists at Vinogradska Hospital submitted their resignations. The departures occurred after Diana Zadravec was selected through a repeated competition for the position of head of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. The Ministry stated that while appointments and organizational decisions fall under the hospital's administrative authority, the priority remains ensuring uninterrupted clinic operations and patient safety. Officials emphasized that the current situation must not hinder access to necessary medical treatment and indicated they would monitor developments closely.
