A major police operation in Montenegro!

The police in Ulcinj, Montenegro, conducted a major operation during which 23 individuals were arrested as part of intensified preventive and repressive activities aimed at ensuring security during the tourist season. Over the past few days, officers carried out increased checks on people, vehicles, buildings, and hospitality facilities. During these operations, 45 confiscations of narcotics, psychoactive substances, and tablets on the list of narcotics were made, while 37 traffic violation reports were filed with the relevant court for minor offenses. Approximately 460 grams of methamphetamine (ecstasy), 58 grams of marijuana, and smaller quantities of cocaine and hashish were seized. The operation also focused on road safety, resulting in the inspection of 439 vehicles and drivers, checks on 449 individuals, sanctions against 329 drivers, and issuance of 329 traffic violation notices. Forty-one drivers were deprived of their freedom due to driving under the influence of alcohol, psychoactive substances, or refusal to undergo testing. Additionally, eight operationally interesting persons were checked, with five sanctioned and one arrested.
