2 cops slain in Sultan Kudarat ambush

Two police officers were killed in an ambush in Sultan Kudarat province, Philippines, on July 7. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when the officers, identified as Patrolmen Pagurayan and Bullos, were riding on a motorcycle in Barangay Tinumiguis. The attackers used M16 rifles, as evidenced by recovered empty shells. The victims were members of the 1202nd Mobile Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB 12). A manhunt is currently underway to locate the perpetrators.
