Cambuur managed two responses, with Rafik El Arguioui scoring twice in the second half (70', 80'). The final score was 5-2 in favor of Feyenoord. Earlier in the day, PSV Eindhoven defeated Groningen 5-1, with Croatian international Ivan Perišić contributing two goals. Perišić opened the scoring in the 35th minute, following an assist from young forward Ruben van Bommel, son of Belgium national team coach and former Dutch international Marc van Bommel. Perišić’s performance continued with another goal in the 53rd minute, while Sergino Dest added a late goal in the 56th minute to seal the win.
