V Eda centru končno vsi pod isto streho in bliže ljudem

The business residential skyscraper Eda Center in Nova Gorica has finally been fully occupied after 15 years since its construction. Today, the five upper floors of the building were allocated to the Financial Office of Nova Gorica. The office’s 230 employees, previously spread across three locations, will now work under one roof. The renovation project, costing over eight million euros, completely reorganized the spaces in the second, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth floors of the Eda Center. Starting Monday, the relocation of computer equipment into the newly organized offices will streamline operations. Previously, the Financial Office operated in a dilapidated building from 1978 on Gradnikovih Brigad Street in Nova Gorica, as well as in Vrtojba and Ajdovščina. The situation became particularly challenging after 2015, when the tax and customs offices merged, requiring 100 employees from shared services to work outside the main location.

The commercial residential building Eda Center in Nova Gorica has finally been fully occupied after 15 years of construction. On July 2, 2026, the Financial Office of Nova Gorica moved into newly renovated spaces within the building, consolidating its 230 employees who had previously been spread across three locations. The investment, worth over eight million euros, involved comprehensive renovations of the second, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth floors. This move marks the end of a long-standing spatial and logistical challenges faced by the office, which had operated from multiple locations including the outdated 1978-built building on Gradnikovih Brigad street, Vrtojba, and Ajdovščina. The relocation was particularly challenging after 2015, when the tax and customs office merger required staff to work outside their main location.

Bias read (Center): The article focuses on a municipal administrative body relocating to a new facility, which is a matter of local governance and public administration. While the relocation involves public sector operations, there is no overt ideological framing or emphasis on partisan politics. The tone remains fact-
