TTD plans village-level rollout of Srivari Seva in Telugu States

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the Tirumala temple complex, is planning to expand its Srivari Seva program to village-level temples in the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This initiative aims to extend devotional services beyond the main Tirumala temple and aligns with the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to improve the quality and reach of voluntary religious service. With over 50,000 temples in these two states, TTD officials are encouraging volunteers to provide service at local temples and community shrines. Additionally, TTD is developing a performance evaluation system similar to CIBIL to rate volunteers based on their contributions, ensuring merit-based assignments and improved service standards. Officials have invited feedback from supervisors on implementing this grassroots initiative and enhancing facilities for pilgrims.
