SloveniaThe Triglav Trail Run, held in the Dolina Vrata area of the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park, took place between August 21 and 22, 2026. The event attracted over 400 participants, with approximately 85% being foreign athletes, including many from Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. The longest race route was around Triglav, covering 101 kilometers and 6,200 meters of elevation gain, completed by nine runners, with French athlete Thomas Paris winning. Other races included a 44 km course won by Slovenian Klemen Štular and a 26 km race won by Slovenian Luka Kovačič. Women’s winners were Vika Koban (44 km), Lisa Schäller (26 km), and Monika Jureczko (14 km). The event was organized by agency Lajf in cooperation with the Slovenian Mountain Museum.
