Білорусі модернізують систему пошуку дронів у небі, яку створили услід за Україною

Belarus is modernizing an acoustic drone detection system called 'Scanner 2.1,' which was developed based on Ukrainian solutions. The system uses sound sensors to detect drones up to 2,000 meters away and can differentiate between large strike drones and FPV (first-person view) drones. Belarus has been showcasing similar systems in previous years but now claims to have upgraded them. The device weighs 1.2 kg, has a diameter of 23 cm, and can operate autonomously for up to 12 hours after deployment within two minutes. It will be used by mobile fire groups for protecting objects and personnel. Ukraine also employs acoustic sensors as part of its broader anti-drone defense system, alongside more advanced surveillance technologies. Poland is similarly developing border-based systems using artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, Belarus has built numerous relay stations near the Ukrainian border, which Russian drones have used during attacks on Ukraine. Although Belarus has turned off these relays at Ukraine’s request, their infrastructure remains intact and could potentially be reactivated.
