Varna hosts the State Championship in fencing for men, women, boys and girls

The National Fencing Championship for youth, girls, men, and women is being held in Varna, Bulgaria. In the youth category, 39 competitors from eight clubs participated, with Maxim Mihaylov from Chernomorets Varna winning gold, Matey Yordanov from Sofia taking silver, and Alexander Lulev from NSA and Teodor Petrov from Pentathlon sharing bronze. In the girls' category, 31 athletes from eight clubs competed, with Iva Stoyanova from Chernomorets Varna claiming first place, Mihaila Stefanova from Pentathlon securing second, and Viktoriya Kuzeva and Nikol Petrova from Pentathlon tying for third. The team competitions for youth and girls will continue tomorrow.
