Open all summer, the Digital Nursery offers free classes for students

The Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports has extended access to its free digital education platform, 'Ψηφιακό Φροντιστήριο' (Digital Study Center), throughout the summer months. The platform offers free educational content, including live lessons, recorded lectures, practice exams, and study materials for students from elementary school through high school. Over 260,000 students used the service during the 2025–2026 academic year, with total users exceeding 410,000. The ministry has expanded the program to include first and second-year high school students, aiming to provide equal access to quality educational support. The initiative continues to integrate artificial intelligence tools like EduAI and AI Tutor, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, to enhance personalized learning experiences.

The Digital Tutor program has remained active throughout the summer, offering free access to educational content, review sessions, exams, and recorded lessons. According to recent announcements made by the Ministry of Education, Religion, and Sports, this digital platform will continue to provide support to students even after the completion of the Panhellenic Examinations. The initiative aims to assist students in preparing effectively for the upcoming academic year, ensuring they have continuous access to learning resources during the summer months.

During the school year 2025-2026, more than 260,000 students, as well as graduates, utilized the services of the Digital Tutor. Additionally, the total number of users exceeded 410,000. This highlights the significant impact and reach of the program, which has been designed to offer equal opportunities for all students regardless of their geographical location or economic status.

The Minister of Education, Sophia Zacharakis, emphasized the importance of the Digital Tutor in promoting equality in education. She stated that the program provides free educational support to every student, irrespective of where they live or the financial situation of their family. Furthermore, she noted that the support does not end with the conclusion of the school year or the Panhellenic Examinations, allowing students to prepare better for the new academic year.

In addition to its existing features, the Digital Tutor is expanding its offerings to include live classes for first and second-year high school students. This expansion aims to enhance equitable access to quality educational support for all students while continuing the digital transformation of education. New digital services are being developed alongside the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the learning process.

Specifically, the EduAI tool will provide personalized exercises in real-time, tailored to each student's learning profile, thereby enhancing targeted practice and feedback. Meanwhile, the AI Tutor, in collaboration with Microsoft, will support special language courses through digital reinforcement guidance and customized educational materials.

Currently, the Digital Tutor offers teaching in 45 subjects that are part of the national examinations, along with 186 recorded lessons, repetitive exercises, exams, and simulations of Panhellenic Examinations. Educational material is available for all levels from the fifth grade of primary school up to the second year of high school. These resources aim to ensure comprehensive preparation and support for students across various educational stages.

The continued operation of the Digital Tutor reflects a commitment to making knowledge more accessible, modern, and fair for all students. By leveraging technology and AI, the program seeks to bridge gaps in educational access and support, ensuring that every student can benefit from high-quality educational resources regardless of their circumstances. This initiative underscores the government’s efforts to promote inclusive education and utilize technological advancements to enhance the learning experience for students nationwide.
