A Serbian basketball player, Uroš Plavšić, was arrested on Thursday at the request of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade over suspicions that he assaulted a military personnel during service. According to reports from Kurir, the incident occurred overnight on July 16–17 after a wedding celebration with Serbian influencer Jovana Tomić. Plavšić allegedly jumped over the fence of the Military Medical Academy (VMA) and physically attacked a soldier, who managed to subdue him and call the military police.
