The number of isolated persons has risen significantly, reaching 6,183 from 2,052 previously. La Araucanía leads this count with 5,032 individuals. Damage assessments indicate 17 homes completely destroyed, 379 with major damage, and 2,908 with minor damage, while 1,200 remain under evaluation. According to data from the Superintendence of Electricity and Fuels (SEC), 101,905 customers are without electricity, primarily concentrated in the Maule Region with 24,200 cases, followed by O’Higgins with 20,618 and La Araucanía with 18,189. Earlier reports from July 29, 2026, indicated 156 people affected and over 600 isolated. At that time, three injured individuals were recorded, two in La Araucanía and one in Ñuble. Classes have been suspended at schools in Colvindo, Los Puquios, and Caracol, as well as early childhood education at the Liceo Santa Cruz de Larqui and all classes in Coelemu. Nationally, 3,603 customers lack electrical service, with 1,350 in the Maule and 877 in La Araucanía. Senapred has established COGRID structures at different territorial levels and set up regional and local technical coordination tables, activating appropriate alert levels based on risk evaluations. In response to the ongoing situation, authorities continue to monitor developments and coordinate efforts among local and regional bodies. Emergency services are actively engaged in assessing conditions and providing support to affected communities.
