ROThe head of the AEP explains why early elections are almost impossible to organize now: There is nothing more we can do
Adrian Țuțuianu, președintele Autorității Electorale Permanente (AEP), a explicat că organizarea alegerilor anticipate în România este practic imposibilă din cauza lipsei de reglementări legislative specifice. Legislația actuală, Legea 208/2015, a fost concepută pentru alegeri regulate la termen, iar adaptarea ei pentru o campanie electorală accelerată ar necesita modificări majore. Țuțuianu a menționat că lipsa unui Parlament funcțional și a unui Guvern capabil de a adopta o ordonanță de urgență complică procesul. De asemenea, lipsa unor termene mai scurte pentru constituirea birourilor electorale și a secțiilor de votare ar putea duce la probleme juridice și logistice. Președintele AEP a anunțat intenția de a propune o nouă lege în octombrie, dar a subliniat că în prezent nu se poate face nimic.
