The SBU confirmed the death of the suspect in the assassination attempt on Yermolayev: new details

The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) confirmed the death of Anastasia Berezovska, who was suspected of planning a murder attempt against the family of a citizen of the Principality of Monaco. The SBU stated that she was killed by two individuals—one currently employed by the State Security Service (GUR) and another former law enforcement officer. Both were identified through investigative actions, including financial transactions involving cryptocurrency and bank accounts. During a search at the residence of the former law enforcement officer, a basement room resembling a torture chamber was discovered. The SBU emphasized that all available information has been shared with the Monaco authorities, who are investigating the perpetrators and other suspects behind the attack on the family in Monaco. Earlier reports indicated that Berezovska had been abroad since March 2025 and was linked to the incident where a Ukrainian sanctioned businessman, Vadim Yermolaev, was injured in an explosion.
