Renault Eco-G: three models, two powertrains and a range of up to 1,500 km

Renault has introduced three models—Clio, Captur, and Symbioz—with two fuel options: gasoline and LPG (Eco-G). The Eco-G variant features enhanced performance compared to previous versions, offering up to 1,500 kilometers of range. This update aims to meet growing demand for sustainable mobility at affordable prices across Mediterranean and Central/Eastern European markets. The Eco-G system uses an upgraded 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with direct injection, now producing 120 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. The Clio model includes a rare dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the other models offer a six-speed manual. The availability of over 46,000 LPG stations across Europe supports this technology, with Italy hosting nearly 5,000 of them. However, self-service LPG stations are not yet available in Italy, limiting refueling times except on highways and major roads.
