PSD announces that 'recent developments on judicial independence' in Romania will be discussed in the European Parliament

PSD emphasizes that this initiative does not target specific cases before national courts but focuses on upholding the principles of the rule of law, separation of powers, and judicial independence. The PSD claims that public pressure on judges, challenging the legitimacy of courts, or discrediting the judiciary before legal procedures are exhausted are incompatible with these principles.
