SloveniaThe article reports on the upcoming 32nd International Art Colony 'Umetniki za Karitas' organized by KD Mohorjan, Občina in Župnija Prevalje, which will take place from August 24–28, 2026, at Sinji Vrh above Ajdovščina. Participating artists include both Slovenian and international contributors such as Borut Beus, Brane Širca, Eva Meštrović (North Macedonia), Katja Bednařik Sudec, Livio Caruso (Italy), Marija Efremova (North Macedonia), Milan Todić, Narcis Kantardžič, Nina Zuljan, and Stojan Špegel. The event has attracted over 1,600 artists since its inception and continues to support humanitarian causes through the sale of artworks. The opening ceremony will take place on July 30, 2026, at the Grošlje Gallery in Prevalje, featuring a presentation by Anamarija Stibilj Šajn, a blessing by Branko Maček, president of Nadškofijska Karitas Maribor, and a musical performance by the Korškan vocal quintet AJDA. Attendees will contribute to charitable efforts through purchases of exhibited works.
