They noted that they received a notification on Tuesday, after the tree cutting had already taken place, which also contained information exclusively about the road closure and traffic adjustments. The felling of the trees has raised numerous questions, particularly regarding the timeline and acquisition of necessary documentation. Mayor Arsenovič explained that there was a misinterpretation of the schedule outlined in the landscape architecture plan, leading to the premature removal of the trees.
