After a car crash in Bilja, police found a forged driver's license on a 49-year-old man.

On Sunday morning in Bilje, a traffic accident occurred where two drivers were injured. The 49-year-old driver was traveling from the Cyan crossroads towards the center of Bilje when he was hit by a 59-year-old driver who had reversed out of his apartment building onto the main road. Both sustained injuries, with the 49-year-old being more seriously hurt and transported to the General Hospital in Šempeter. During the investigation, police discovered that the 49-year-old did not have a valid driver’s license and was using a forged document. They also seized his vehicle and the altered license plates. As a result, prosecutors will file criminal charges against the 49-year-old for the alleged crime of forgery.
