His car then hit the rear of a vehicle registered in Zagreb, driven by a 53-year-old man. The impact caused the 53-year-old’s car to veer off the road and collide with a streetlight pole. The victim, identified as Zlatko Plazonić, was the owner of the popular D8 Rock Café in Zadar and a long-time deputy president of the Moto Club Beštije. The 34-year-old driver fled the scene but was later taken to the hospital and will face further criminal investigation once released.
